Anne Ferguson

A proud homeschooler, Lane Community College graduate and University of Oregon student, Anne grew up right here in Eugene with her six wonderful siblings.

Her first introduction to opera was through the Eugene Opera Academy teen summer camp in 2017 when she played Ruth in The Pirates of Penzance . She then drifted away from opera into musical theater for a spell with the roles of Radio Singer in Anne Jr. with Rose Children’s Theater in 2019 and The Fairy Godmother in Rodgers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella with RCT in early 2020.

Throughout the Covid -19 pandemic she focused on her education and after graduating from LCC in the spring of 2024 she made her operatic debut with Cascadia Chamber Opera as Olivia in Ashley Hastings’ When Dragons Come to Play. Most recently she sang Cendrillon in Massenet's opera of the same name with the University of Oregon’s Opera Ensemble.

She now makes her debut with Eugene Opera in the 2025-2026 season as Isabel in The Pirates of Penzance.
