Tim McCoy

Tenor Timothy McCoy received his Bachelor of Music from the University of Oregon in 2015 and has since been actively performing with local opera organizations in Oregon. He has sung roles with Eugene Opera, Cascadia Chamber Opera, and the University of Oregon Opera Ensemble. Notable roles include Ralph Rackstraw in HMS Pinafore, John Brooke in Little Women, and Peter in Hänsel und Gretel.
After switching vocal fachs from baritone to tenor in 2017, he sang in Cascadia Chamber Opera's premiere of Tango of the White Gardenia by composer Ethan Gans-Morse. In 2019 he sang in the University of Oregon’s production of Les Contes d'Hoffmann, filling the four roles of Andrès, Cochenille, Frantz, and Pitichinaccio. Later that year, he understudied the role of Ralph Rackstraw in Eugene Opera’s production of HMS Pinafore and sang the role with Cascadia Chamber Opera in Astoria, Oregon.
