Kimberly Reed, filmmaker and librettist, has been featured on Oprah, CNN, NPR, and MSNBC. She is one of Filmmaker Magazine’s “25 New Faces of Independent Film.” A New York Foundation of the Arts Fellow, she has had residencies at Yaddo, Hermitage Artist Retreat, and Squaw Valley Community of Writers. In addition to her work on As One, Reed collaborated again with Mark Campbell and Laura Kaminsky on Some Light Emerges for Houston Grand Opera. Her film Prodigal Sons premiered at the Telluride Film Festival and has been shown at more than 100 festivals and broadcast worldwide, garnering more than 14 awards. Her documentary Dark Money, on campaign finance reform, was an Official Selection at the 2018 Sundance Festival, and will air on PBS on POV in October 2018.
